MalGardee is a homeware and stationery brand based in Marylebone, London, founded by Lexy MacDonagh and Jeremy Brown.

With a background in product design, branding and luxury packaging, working with leading retailers and interior designers (Fortnum & Mason, The Conran Shop, Katharine Pooley Interiors, Damaris, etc.) we set out to create an own-brand range drawing on our knowledge of packaging, book-binding & box-making, specialist papers and colour.

We wanted to share our love of foiling, typography and the design process. Traditionally, foil personalising single objects has meant limited options + expensive – a few initials or a name and no room for getting creative. We’ve lifted the limits – all personalisation is free and design options are infinite. We offer 38 fonts, 12 foil shades, graphic motifs and elements, any language, and personalisation text can be up to 600 characters long.

We love the fun, creativity and endless possibilities our system offers – a toolkit for producing one-off, unique foil personalised designs on journals, box files, home storage and gift packaging – quickly & effortlessly.

We’re currently developing new products, colours and prints, and working on making our social media a space where people can share ideas and inspiration for designs, shop looks, request & up-vote new fonts and motifs, and collaborate in designing new products.

All MalGardee products are handmade in England by independent manufacturers practising traditional techniques.

5% of profits go to a UK-Zanzibar health improvement programme.
